Solo crash on I-44 near Ninnekah seriously injures male driver

GRADY CO., OK – A male driver sustained critical injuries on Sunday morning in a solo crash along the interstate in southwest Grady County, reports KSWO 7.
The incident happened around 7 a.m. on I-44, or the H.E. Bailey Turnpike, west of Ninnekah and east of the Lake Louis Burtschi Public Fishing Area.
The investigation thus far indicates that the eastbound driver lost control of his vehicle and left the interstate. The car overturned after landing on its front end.
Medics extricated the driver and transported him to the hospital with head, neck, trunk, and leg injuries.
The investigation is ongoing.
