2-vehicle crash involving semi on US-69 in Miami kills 19-year-old

MIAMI, OK – A Miami man died Monday in a two-vehicle crash involving an 18-wheeler along the highway in western Ottawa County, reports Fox 23 News.
The incident happened around 1:40 p.m. at the intersection of US-69 and East 110 Road, which is just east of the Neosho River and north of Riverview Park in Miami.
The investigation indicates that the victim neglected to stop for a stop sign at the intersection and was struck by a semi-truck.
The driver of the first vehicle, identified as 19-year-old Seth Hoehl, died at the scene of the accident.
The truck driver went to the hospital with minor injuries.
