Minor injuries reported in solo crash on SE 44th and S Anderson Rd

OKLAHOMA CITY, OK – One person sustained injuries Wednesday night in a single-vehicle collision on the southeast side of Oklahoma City.
According to KOCO News 5, the incident happened just after 11:30 p.m. near the intersection of Southeast 44th and South Anderson Road, which is east of Tinker Air Force Base and north of I-40.
Police say a female driver lost control of her vehicle while trying to avoid hitting an animal in the roadway. The car overturned, and the woman suffered non-critical injuries. It’s unclear if she required hospitalization.
Drivers likely experienced delays in the area while crews worked to clear the scene.
