Truck driver killed in 18-wheeler rollover on US-59 near Jay

JAY, OK – A 36-year-old man died Tuesday morning when his 18-wheeler crashed along the highway in central Delaware County, reports fourstateshomepage.com.
The incident happened around 7 a.m. on US-59 just south of the city of Jay. This is about 88 miles northeast of Tulsa.
Police say excessive speed may have caused the rear tires of the victim’s 2023 Freightliner to leave the roadway. The truck overturned, and the driver sustained fatal injuries.
Authorities identified the victim as Brandon Yens of Noel.
