2-vehicle crash on US-69 near Platter Rd in Bryan Co. kills 2, injures 6

BRYAN CO., OK – A two-vehicle crash with ejections along the highway in west-central Bryan County killed one person and injured several others Friday night, reports kxii 12.

The accident happened around 9:41 p.m. on US-69 near Platter Road, or Leavenworth Trail. This is just south of the city of Calera.

There’s no word yet regarding the manner of the crash impact, but police said several people were thrown from the two vehicles.

Two people died in the accident — one of them after transport to an area hospital. Authorities have not yet released the names of the victims.

Medics airlifted three other victims to hospitals in Texas. Another three went to local hospitals via ground ambulance.
