Crash involving 2 trucks on I-44 EB near 165th E Ave kills 2, injures 1

TULSA, OK – A collision involving two trucks along the interstate in east Tulsa killed two people and injured two others Wednesday morning, reports Fox 23 News.

The accident happened on the eastbound side of I-44 at 165th East Avenue, which is just south of Arbuckle Truck Driving School.

Police say that an eastbound 18-wheeler rear-ended a stalled UPS truck along the interstate.

Two people from the semi died from injuries sustained in the crash. Authorities haven’t yet disclosed the names of the victims.

Medics transported the driver of the UPS truck to the hospital with non-critical injuries.

A full investigation is underway.
