Injuries reported in crash on Pennsylvania Ave at NW 16th

OKLAHOMA CITY, OK – A rush hour accident at a busy intersection in northwest Oklahoma City hurt at least one person Monday morning, reports TTN Oklahoma City.

The crash happened sometime before 7:15 a.m. in the area of southbound Pennsylvania Avenue and Northwest 16th Street, which is in the Plaza District.

Authorities are still investigating the cause of the accident and the number of vehicles involved. Additionally, it’s unclear how many people were hurt and if any of them required hospitalization.

Drivers experienced substantial slow downs for several blocks along Pennsylvania Avenue southbound while crews worked to help the victim(s) and clear the scene.

The investigation is ongoing.
