OKC PD investigates fatal crash on I-235 near NW 50th

OKLAHOMA CITY, OK – One person died Friday night in a two-vehicle crash along the interstate in north-central Oklahoma City, reports KOCO News 5.

The accident happened at 10:35 p.m. on I-235 near Northwest 50th Street, which is south of I-44 and east of Bishop McGuinness Catholic High School.

Police say that the unrestrained driver of a southbound vehicle was speeding when she hit another car while changing lanes on the interstate. The impact of the collision ejected the first driver, who died at the scene.

Authorities have not yet identified the victim in the crash.

No other injuries have been reported in connection to accident.

A full investigation is underway.
