Rollover on I-44 near SW 134th St in SW OKC injures 2

OKLAHOMA CITY, OK – Injuries have been reported in connection to a major accident along the interstate in southwest Oklahoma City on Wednesday.

According to News 9, the crash happened shortly before 2 a.m. on I-44 near Southwest 134th Street, which is just south of Will Rogers World Airport.

There’s no word yet regarding the cause of the wreck or the number of vehicles involved. Police say that one vehicle overturned as a result of the collision and that two people required hospitalization. The severity of their injuries is still unknown.

Motorists likely encountered delays along I-44 while emergency teams assisted the injured parties and worked to clear the wreckage.
