Crash involving car, school bus on OK-28 at 4230 Rd kills 1

ROGERS CO., OK – One person died Wednesday afternoon in a two-vehicle crash involving a school bus in northeast Rogers County, reports Fox 23 News.
The accident happened around 4 p.m. near the intersection of OK-28 and 4230 Road. This is just southwest of Chelsea and about 40 miles northeast of Tulsa.
Police haven’t disclosed the circumstances of the wreck except to say that a car collided with a school bus carrying Claremore Sequoyah junior high basketball players.
None of the students on the bus were hurt in the crash, but the driver of the car sustained fatal injuries.
Authorities have not yet released the identity of the deceased.
A full investigation is underway.
