Motorcyclist hospitalized after crash near NE 36th and N Air Depot

OKLAHOMA CITY, OK – One man is recovering from injuries sustained in a major crash Friday night in northeast Oklahoma City, reports News 9.

Emergency teams responded to a motorcycle accident in the area of Northeast 36th Street and North Air Depot Boulevard sometime before 9:45 p.m.

Police say that icy road conditions likely caused the motorcycle operator to lose control of his bike and crash. The biker was not wearing a helmet at the time of the accident.

Medics transported the victim to an area hospital with critical injuries.

Officials closed roads in the area of the wreck while crews worked to assist the victim and clear the scene.

A full investigation is underway.
