Pedestrian fatally injured in crash on I-244 NB at W Archer

TULSA, OK – A 60-year-old man sustained fatal injuries last Saturday when a vehicle struck him along the interstate in central Tulsa, reports 102.3 KRMG.
The accident happened just after 3:30 p.m. on the northbound side of I-244 at West Archer Street, which is south of US-412 and west of downtown.
Police haven’t shared any details regarding the circumstances of the crash except to say that medics transported the pedestrian, identified as Thang Lian, to an area hospital.
Lian died Tuesday in the hospital from injuries sustained in the wreck.
Authorities have not specified if Lian was walking on the shoulder or in a main lane of the highway.
Additionally, while police haven’t shared any details about the driver, they’re not calling this a hit-and-run.
A full investigation is underway.
