Man struck, killed near Delaware and 91st in Tulsa

TULSA, OK – A man died last Thursday morning when a vehicle struck him on a sidewalk in south-central Tulsa, reports News on 6.
The accident happened around 10 a.m. in the area of South Delaware Avenue and East 91st Street. This is just east of the Arkansas River in the Cedarcrest area.
Police say that a 67-year-old man was walking on the sidewalk along South Delaware when a car exited a nearby private drive and hit him.
The pedestrian died at the scene of the wreck. Authorities have not yet released his name to the public.
The driver involved in the crash did stop to render aid and speak with police.
No charges have been announced thus far, but a full investigation is underway.
