Ambulance, wrecker called to major crash at NE 23rd and Douglas

OKLAHOMA CITY, OK – Emergency crews responded to a major collision Friday morning on the east side of Oklahoma City, reports KOCO News 5.
The accident happened sometime before 11 a.m. at the intersection of Northeast 23rd Street and Douglas Boulevard, which is just south of Spencer and northeast of Esa Park.
Police say the accident involved at least two vehicles, including an SUV and a pickup truck. Both vehicles were badly damaged in the crash.
Authorities haven’t yet specified the cause of the wreck, nor have they provided specific details regarding injuries.
At least one ambulance reported to the scene along with a tow truck and police.
Motorists likely faced significant delays in the area of the crash while teams gathered evidence and worked to clear the scene.
