Rear-end crash on Hwy 33 in Creek Co. kills 1, injures 1

CREEK CO., OK – A two-vehicle collision with ejection along the highway in Creek County killed one person Friday, reports KTUL News 8.
The accident happened somewhere along Highway 33, which runs east to west from Sapulpa to Drumright. Officials haven’t provided a cross street for the wreck.
Police say that a vehicle failed to decelerate when the car ahead of it slowed to turn. The vehicle in back rear-ended the other vehicle.
The force of the collision ejected the driver that caused the crash, killing him at the scene. Authorities have not yet released the victim’s name.
Medics transported the driver of the front vehicle to an area hospital with non-critical injuries.
