Truck driver, passenger hospitalized after fiery truck collision in Pryor

PRYOR, OK – A truck driver was transported by ground and a truck passenger was airlifted to a Tulsa hospital following a fiery truck collision that happened on Wednesday.
The crash took place around 5:00 a.m. at the intersection of Highway 69 and Southeast 49th Street, KTUL said. It was there that a driver of a truck pulling a car hauler had ran a red light and crashed into the back side of a tractor-trailer.
The force of the collision caused a portion of the semi-truck, truck, and vehicle to catch on fire.
Pryor police had to help the passenger of the car hauler escape, while the driver was able to free themself. Both were left with unspecified injuries and taken to a hospital.
A full investigation is underway.
