1 in serious condition following SUV-big rig crash in Oologah

OOLOGAH, OK – One person was left in serious condition following an SUV-big rig crash in Oologah on Thursday.
The collision occurred before 10 a.m. in the area of Old U.S. 169 and South 4070 Road, according to Newson6. Oklahoma Highway Patrol, fire crews, EMS, and medical helicopter personnel responded to the scene.
The medical helicopter landed on the highway and then departed before 11 a.m. It’s unclear if the SUV driver was transported by ground or via the medical helicopter to a hospital for treatment of serious injuries.
Officials enacted closures, but left one lane open to accommodate the flow of traffic.
