14 students injured in crash between school bus, big rig in Elgin

ELGIN, OK – Fourteen students associated with Elgin Public Schools were injured in a crash that occurred between a district school bus and a big rig in Elgin on Monday.

According to News9, it appears that a big rig crashed into the back of the district school bus on Interstate 44. Out of 38 students on the bus, 14 of the students were injured.

Three among the 14 students suffered serious injuries, district officials confirmed.
