Failure to negotiate curve causes deadly collision in Jay

JAY, OK – A driver failed to negotiate a curve, which led to a two-vehicle collision that killed one person and injured another on Sunday, News on 6 reports.
Oklahoma Highway Patrol said a driver identified as Aaron Mills failed to negotiate a curve while driving on County Road S 575 and crashed into a parked car.
Mills also struck the driver of the parked car, who was standing outside.
OHP said the driver of the parked car and his passenger, who was inside the parked car, were taken to a hospital in Grove.
The driver of the parked car later died from his injuries. OHP identified the decedent as Toby Myers, 40, from Quapaw.
Myers’ passenger’s physical condition has not been confirmed.
Mills and his passenger were uninjured.
OHP has started an investigation and has not said whether they cited Mills or if charges are pending against him.
