Suspect arrested following pursuit-turned-collision in Tulsa

TULSA, OK – A suspect was arrested following a pursuit-turned-collision in Tulsa on Tuesday, Newson6 said.
The incident occurred at Yaffe Metals. The suspect got into a man’s truck and immediately drove off in it.
Tulsa County deputies later spotted the suspect off 36th Street North and MLK Boulevard. In that area, the suspect crashed into another vehicle and veered into a bike and walking trail.
Deputies terminated the pursuit, and the suspect crashed the stolen vehicle into two power poles. The truck got tangled in the power lines, and the suspect tried to run but was immediately detained by a deputy with the help of a K-9.
Authorities closed down 46th Street North from Hartford to Peoria.
