Alleged DUI driver causes fatal motorcycle collision in Del City

DEL CITY, OK – A 32-year-old motorcyclist lost his life to a collision caused by an alleged DUI driver last Friday in Del City, KOCO reports.
Preliminary details show that a 30-year-old man driving a Toyota Camry was reportedly speeding when he crashed into the motorcyclist at the intersection of East Reno Avenue and Sunnylane Road.
The motorcyclist died from his injuries at the scene and has since been identified as 32-year-old Justin Ball.
Del City police said the Toyota driver had a handgun inside his vehicle and exhibited signs of intoxication. Officers arrested him on suspicion of driving under the influence.
The suspect is currently being held at the Oklahoma County Detention Center. He is likely to be charged with “aggravated driving under the influence, possession of a firearm by a convicted felon, causing a fatality accident without a valid driver’s license, driving while license revoked, and second-degree murder.”
