At least 1 hurt in collision on I-44 near Oklahoma City’s Penn Square Mall

OKLAHOMA CITY, OK — The Oklahoma Highway Patrol responded to an injury crash Friday morning on Interstate 44 in northwest Oklahoma City, according to TTN Oklahoma City.
The accident happened on the westbound lanes at Exit 125 to Northwest Expressway, near Penn Square Mall. It was first reported by the OHP at 9:05 a.m.
At this time, it remains unclear what caused the wreck or how many vehicles were involved.
At the time of the report, traffic was backed up to Western Avenue at Exit 126.
