ATV crash on CR 310 and Custer Rd kills young girl

WOODS CO., OK – An 11-year-old girl died Thursday from injuries sustained in an ATV crash in southwestern Woods County on Wednesday, reports KOCO News 5.

The incident happened around 7:35 p.m. in the area of County Road 310 and Custer Road, which is near Wynoka.

The investigation thus far indicates that the victim lost control of her 2013 Polaris ATV at a turn in the road, at which point the vehicle overturned and landed on the young girl.

The victim died Thursday morning at a hospital in Kansas.

A full investigation is underway.
