Auto vs. semi crash on Hwy 48 near Wapanucka kills 1

JOHNSTON CO., OK – The driver of a van died Tuesday morning after colliding with an 18-wheeler along a highway near Wapanucka, reports KFOR News.
The incident happened around 6:30 a.m. just south of Wapanucka on the southbound side of Highway 48.
Police say that a southbound 2003 Ford van rear-ended an 18-wheeler when the truck slowed to make a left turn.
The driver of the Ford van, identified as 51-year-old Shanelle Watts, died at the scene of the accident.
The cause of the crash is still unknown. The investigation is ongoing.
