Car flees police, causes crash at NW 39th and Portland

OKLAHOMA CITY, OK – No injuries have been reported in connection with a police chase and subsequent crash into a building in Oklahoma City on Tuesday, reports KOCO News 5.
The incident happened around lunchtime in the area of Northwest 39th Expressway and North Portland Avenue, which is just southeast of Sportsmans Club Lake.
The investigation indicates that police were pursuing a woman to serve a warrant. After chasing her vehicle on Interstate 44 and the Northwest Expressway, police attempted to stop the driver by performing a tactical maneuver. A trooper then crashed into an empty building.
No injuries have been reported in connection with the crash, and police were able to locate and detain the woman later that evening.
