Car strikes, kills man near E 71st and S Lewis Ave in Tulsa

TULSA, OK – A male pedestrian died Sunday night when a vehicle struck him near a busy intersection in the Kensington area, reports Fox 23 News.
The incident happened around 10:30 p.m. near the intersection of East 71st Street and South Lewis Avenue, which is just south of the Southern Hills Country Club.
The investigation thus far indicates that the pedestrian entered the roadway outside of a designated crosswalk when the vehicle struck him, and he died from injuries sustained in the wreck.
The driver of the vehicle remained at the scene of the accident to speak with authorities.
