Collision on I-40 EB at Douglas Blvd delays traffic

OKLAHOMA CITY, OK – A Friday evening crash along the interstate in eastern Oklahoma City blocked traffic while crews responded to the scene, reports the Oklahoma Department of Transportation.
EB I-40 is narrowed to one lane at Douglas Blvd. due to a crash.

The incident happened sometime before 7:25 p.m. on the eastbound side of I-40 at Douglas Boulevard, which is just east of Tinker Air Force Base.
There’s no word yet on injuries or what might have caused the accident. Officials closed all but one lane of I-40 eastbound following the crash.
