Construction worker killed in crash involving trash truck in Tulsa

TULSA, OK – A construction worker was killed in a Highway 75 crash involving a trash truck in Tulsa on Friday, KJRH reports.
The collision occurred in a construction zone near West 51st Street. A trash truck, which is affiliated with a construction crew, struck one of its own workers.
The worker who was hit died from their injuries a short time later.
Tulsa Police and fire crews responded to the scene of the collision and blocked off a portion of the road to accommodate the scene clean-up process and overall investigation.
Police have not released the victim’s name and are working to pinpoint the cause of the collision.
