Crash caused by medical episode on US-177 near Sulphur kills 1

MURRAY CO., OK – A 60-year-old man died Thursday night after a solo crash along the highway in east-central Murray County, reports Fox 25.
The accident happened around 7 p.m. on US-177 near the city of Sulphur. This is about 85 miles southeast of Oklahoma City.
Police say that Alfred Atchison lost control of his 2004 Chevrolet Trailblazer after experiencing a medical episode. The Chevy crashed into a fence after leaving the highway.
Atchison died after transport to an area hospital.
There were no passengers in the vehicle at the time of the wreck.
A full investigation is underway.
