Crash involving semi and minivan on OK-152 near Elk City kills 1

BECKHAM CO., OK – A 61-year-old died Thursday after a two-vehicle crash along the highway in northeast Beckham County, reports Fox 25. 

The accident happened on OK-152 just south of Elk City. This is about 112 miles west of Oklahoma City.

Police haven’t yet determined the cause of the collision, which they say involved an 18-wheeler and a Toyota minivan.

A passenger in the minivan sustained fatal injuries. Authorities identified the victim as Bailing Sun.

Medics transported the driver of the van to the hospital with undisclosed injuries.

It’s unclear if the other three passengers of the Toyota were hurt.

The truck driver did not sustain injuries in the collision.

A full investigation is underway.
