Crash involving semi at OK-66 and S 61st W in Sapulpa kills 1

SAPULPA, OK – One man died last Thursday after a collision involving a pickup truck and an 18-wheeler along New Sapulpa Road, reports Fox 23 News.
The incident happened in the evening in the area of New Sapulpa Road, or OK-66, and South 61st West Ave, which is just west of Oaks Country Club.
The investigation indicates that a pickup truck crashed into a semi as the latter vehicle was reversing onto New Sapulpa Road from a parking lot.
The collision killed the driver of the pickup truck. Authorities have not yet released his identity to the public.
The truck driver did not sustain injuries in the accident.
Drivers likely experienced delays along New Sapulpa Road on Thursday night as crews gathered evidence and worked to clear the scene.
The investigation is ongoing.
