Critical injuries reported in pin-in crash on I-35 NB near 33rd St

EDMOND, OK – Emergency crews responded to an injury accident along the interstate in southeast Edmond late Friday morning, reports KFOR News 4.
The incident happened sometime before 11:35 a.m. on the northbound side of I-35 just south of 33rd Street, which is southwest of Spring Creek Park.
There’s no word yet on the cause of the accident or the number of vehicles involved. Police say that one person became pinned in their vehicle and required extrication. Medics transported this person to a local hospital with serious injuries.
No other injuries have been referenced in connection to the crash.
