Del City PD investigates hit-and-run near Lazy and Leorhardt

DEL CITY, OK – A driver and an unknown number of passengers fled the scene after crashing a stolen vehicle in Del City on Wednesday, reports News 9.

The incident occurred sometime before 6:30 a.m. on Lazy Lane between Chetwood Drive and Leorhardt Drive, which is just west of Cristo Rey Oklahoma City Catholic High School.

Police say that a stolen white pickup truck from Newcastle collided with at least two parked vehicles along Lazy Lane. The occupants of the pickup truck then fled the scene on foot.

The vehicles that were hit by the pickup truck sustained damage in the accident.

No injuries have been reported, but authorities are still searching for the juveniles involved in the accident.

A full investigation is underway.
