Delays reported after crash on I-44 SB near SW 15th

OKLAHOMA CITY, OK – Emergency teams responded to a rush hour crash along the interstate in central Oklahoma City on Thursday morning, reports TTN Oklahoma City.

The accident happened sometime before 8 a.m. on the southbound side of I-44 at Southwest 15th Street. This is just south of the Oklahoma River and west of the Stockyards.

Police haven’t specified the cause of the collision or the number of vehicles involved, and it’s unclear if anyone sustained injuries.

Officials reported significant delays along I-44 southbound between I-40 and Southwest 15th Street.

Crews worked to clear the crash by around 8:20 a.m.

A full investigation is underway.
