Distraction cited as cause of fatal crash at E 110 Rd and S 540 Rd

OTTAWA CO., OK – A 39-year-old motorcyclist died Wednesday afternoon in a two-vehicle collision in northwest Ottawa County, reports yahoo! news.
The accident occurred around 4 p.m. at the intersection of E 110 Road and S 540 Road, which is just southwest of Miami and about 100 miles northeast of Tulsa
Police say that a 2007 Dodge 3500 struck a Genesis motorized bicycle, killing the biker at the scene of the accident. Authorities identified the victim as Keith Jones.
The driver of the Dodge did not sustain injuries in the collision.
At this time, officials allege that one of the drivers was distracted when the crash happened.
Motorists likely experienced delays in the area of the crash Wednesday afternoon while emergency teams worked at the scene.
