Driver arrested following police chase, crash in SW OKC

OKLAHOMA CITY, OK – A man was taken into custody after a police chase that ended in a crash in Southwest Oklahoma City late Sunday night.
According to News 9, the driver fled officers as they attempted to pull him over for dragging a chain-linked fence behind their vehicle. The vehicle stopped, then sped off when an officer attempted to remove the fence.
In the course of the pursuit, the driver collided with another vehicle on the road. The chase ultimately came to an end when the police executed a maneuver on the vehicle near Southwest 49th Street and South Walker Avenue.
No one was reportedly injured in the crash. However, the driver, 24-year-old Jordan McBride was arrested at the scene.
