Driver crashes into northwest Oklahoma City business

OKLAHOMA CITY, OK — Medics were called Tuesday night after a vehicle slammed into a storefront in northwest Oklahoma City’s Cleveland UCD neighborhood, reports News9.
The incident occurred at Ipgi, an embroidery shop in the 2700 block of North May Avenue. It was first reported by News9 at 10:13 p.m.
It was unclear what caused the crash, but footage captured at the scene shows significant front-end damage to a light-colored passenger vehicle and extensive damage to the front of the building occupied by the business.
Medics called to treat the driver on the scene, but the severity of the patient’s condition has not been disclosed.
No one else appeared to have been hurt.
At this time, no pending charges or citations have been reported.
An investigation was in progress.
