Driver dies in crash with cow, telephone pole on Midway Rd near Fox

CARTER CO., OK – A 25-year-old driver died Wednesday morning in northwest Carter County after colliding with a cow along Midway Road.

According to KXII, the incident happened around 4:45 a.m. on Midway Road between Fox to the west and Mountain Lake to the east.

Police say that the southbound driver left the roadway and hit a phone pole after hitting a cow, a fence, and several trees.

The driver died at the scene of the accident. Authorities identified him as Kamriq Buycks.

A full investigation is underway.
