DUI driver hits house at E 81st and S Sheridan in SE Tulsa

TULSA, OK – An intoxicated driver lost control of her vehicle and crashed into a home in southeast Tulsa Wednesday night, reports KFOR News 4.

The incident happened late at night in the area of East 81st Street and South Sheridan Road, which is just northeast of Olympia Neurological Institute in the Sheridan Valley area.

Police say the suspect was driving an SUV under the influence when her vehicle left the roadway and struck a house.

The driver went to the hospital with unknown injuries. Upon release, she was charged for driving while under the influence.

It’s unclear if anyone was home when the wreck occurred, but police haven’t indicated that anyone aside from the driver required hospitalization.
