The Oklahoma Highway Patrol said the incident occurred near Santa Fe Avenue, while the trooper was at the scene of a separate crash involving a tractor-trailer and a car.
It was not immediately clear what led to the OHP vehicle being hit, but the trooper was transported to a local hospital for undisclosed injuries.
A search of the striking vehicle caused responding troopers to believe the driver was under the influence of drugs at the time of the crash. The suspect was arrested for an investigation into driving while under the influence.
