DWI crash on NW D St in Antlers kills teen, injures adult

ANTLERS, OK – A teen died, and an adult sustained serious injuries Monday morning in a single-vehicle accident in southwest Pushmataha County, reports kxii 12.
The incident occurred around 4:30 a.m. along Northwest D Street, which is east of OK-2 and north of OK-3, or West Main Street.
Police say a teen driver was likely intoxicated when he lost control of the vehicle, left D Street, and crashed into a tree.
Medics transported an unrestrained 17-year-old passenger to an area hospital, where he later died from injuries sustained in the wreck.
An air ambulance transported a 22-year-old unrestrained passenger to a Plano hospital with critical injuries.
The 17-year-old driver sustained minor injuries and did not require hospitalization.
A full investigation is underway.
