Fatality reported in crash at US-177 and E 68th St in Stillwater

PAYNE CO., OK – At least one person died Tuesday morning in a major accident that happened along the southern outskirts of Stillwater, reports OKC Fox 25.
The incident happened sometime before 6:30 a.m. at the intersection of Highway 177 and East 68th Street, which is north of Taylor’s RV Park.
Police haven’t yet shared any details regarding the circumstances of the accident. It’s not yet known how many vehicles were involved, and the cause of the crash remains under review.
Authorities have not disclosed the name of the victim(s), and it’s unclear if others may have been injured.
Officials closed all northbound and southbound lanes of Highway 177 in the area of the wreck while crews worked at the scene.
