Fatality reported in solo crash near S Western Ave and SW 119th St

OKLAHOMA CITY, OK – At least one person died Wednesday morning after a single-vehicle accident near Westmore High School, reports KFOR News 4. 

The incident happened around 5:45 a.m. near the intersection of Southwest 119th Street and South Western Ave, which is between Kingsridge and Meadowridge Estates.

Authorities have not yet disclosed the name of the victim. The investigation thus far indicates that the driver may have suffered a medical episode just prior to the crash.

Westmore High School closed its south entrance during drop off on Wednesday morning while crews worked at the crash site.

The investigation is ongoing.
