Fiery solo crash on Hwy 9 near E County Line Rd kills 1

LONGTOWN, OK – One person sustained fatal injuries Sunday in a single-vehicle collision along the highway in northeast Pittsburg County, reports Fox 23 News.

The accident occurred in the morning on Highway 9 near East County Line Road. This is just east of Longtown Full Gospel Church.

Police say that for unknown reasons, a westbound vehicle left the roadway and ignited after hitting a culvert.

The driver, identified as Zackerie Grantham, died at the scene of the crash.

Longtown residents likely experienced delays along the highway Sunday morning while crews worked to clear the wreckage.

A full investigation is underway.
