Head-on crash along Hwy 177 near Stillwater injures 2, including officer

PAYNE CO., OK – Two men, including one police officer, went to the hospital Friday after a wrong-way crash along the highway in central Payne County, reports OKC Fox 25.
The incident happened around 10:10 a.m. on Highway 177 between Stillwater and Perkins.
Police say that a driver may have suffered a medical episode when he crossed several lanes of traffic and crashed head-on into a parked cruiser in a construction zone.
Medics transported the 84-year-old driver of the vehicle and the police officer to a local hospital for non-critical injuries.
A full investigation is underway.
