Hit-and-run driver strikes, kills pedestrian in Lincoln Co.

STROUD, OK – Police are investigating a hit-and-run incident that killed a female pedestrian along the turnpike in Stroud on Sunday, reports News 9.
The incident happened around 5:38 a.m. on the eastbound side of the Turner Turnpike near mile marker 180, which is just southwest of the Turner Toll Plaza.
Authorities identified the victim as Teresa Lindley. At this time, it’s still unclear why she was walking along the Turnpike at the time of the crash.
Police are looking for a 2015-2019 Subaru Legacy in connection to the event. They say the vehicle likely has extensive damage, especially to the bottom of the vehicle.
