Hit-and-run vehicle strikes, injures cyclist on NW 36th near Meridian

OKLAHOMA CITY, OK – A bicyclist was hurt Tuesday when a vehicle struck them on a major roadway in northwest Oklahoma City, reports KOCO News 5.
The accident happened in the morning on Northwest 36th Street near Meridian Avenue, which is south of OK-66 in the Windsor Hills area.
Police haven’t yet shared any details regarding the circumstances of the collision except to say that the vehicle involved in the crash fled the scene.
The victim sustained non-critical injuries; it’s unclear if they required hospitalization.
Drivers in the area likely experienced significant delays while emergency crews worked at the scene.
