WOODWARD CO., OK – A 39-year-old woman died Wednesday morning in a solo crash along the highway in Woodward County, reports KOCO News 5.

The accident happened shortly before 7:30 a.m. on Highway 34 near East County Road 46, which is just north of the city of Sharon. This is about 132 miles northwest of Oklahoma City.

Police say that the driver of a Tundra pickup truck carrying two children as passengers attempted to pass another vehicle on the highway. Slick roads caused the driver to lose control, and the pickup truck overturned after leaving the roadway.

The driver, identified as Jinmei Weinman, died at the scene of the wreck.

Medics transported the two children to an area hospital with minor injuries.

A full investigation is underway.
