Injuries reported in collision on US-59 in Sallisaw

SALLISAW, OK – A Saturday crash along the highway in Sallisaw injured at least one person and blocked traffic while crews responded to the scene.
According to News 9, the incident happened in the afternoon in the area of 113975 US-59, which is just southeast of the Lakeside RV Park and Campground.
Police have not yet commented on the cause of the accident, nor have they said how many vehicles were involved. They have indicated that the collision involved injuries.
