Injuries reported in crash at Memorial Rd WB and N Rockwell Ave

OKLAHOMA CITY, OK – Emergency teams responded to a crash with injuries at a busy intersection in northwest Oklahoma City on Friday afternoon, reports TTN Oklahoma City.

The accident happened sometime before 3:05 p.m. at the intersection of Memorial Road westbound and North Rockwell Avenue. This is just north of I-344 and west of Oklahoma Children’s Hospital OU Health.

Police haven’t yet shared any details regarding the circumstances of the collision except to say that at least one person was hurt. There’s no word concerning the number of vehicles involved or the manner in which the vehicles impacted.

Motorists likely experienced delays Friday afternoon in the area of the crash while medics assisted the victims and crews worked to clear the scene.

A full investigation is underway.
